Praline's Ice Cream
Articles & Information

Praline's Corporate OfficePraline's Ice Cream was founded in 1984 by Donna and the late Joe Torre and has been Connecticut's original super premium ice cream maker for over 25 years. When you think of ice cream in Connecticut, you think Praline's Own Made Ice Cream. Every one of our ice cream flavors are made from scratch locally at our manufacturing distribution facility in Wallingford. Praline's has received the Meriden Record Journal Reader's Choice Award for best ice cream shop in Connecticut seven years in a row!

We offer over 40 flavors of delicious homemade ice cream and we also have seasonal flavors. We have your traditional vanilla and chocolate, but also offer flavors like Fudge Ripple, Grapenut, and Beez Neez. Praline's now has several other options to satisfy your sweet tooth. We offer yogurts, sorbets, sherbets, and no fat/no sugar flavors of ice cream. To add even more flavor to our already delicious homemade ice creams, we have an assortment of toppings to choose from. We have different kinds of candy, nuts, and fruits, along with hot and cold toppings to add to your favorite ice cream. Toppings such as Butter Finger, chocolate sprinkles, walnuts, and caramel are some of your fan favorites. Do not forget to choose to have your ice cream as a Sunday or in one of our four types of cones!. Praline's has many ice cream shops throughout Connecticut and our homemade ice cream is also featured at other retail stores. There are 12 separate businesses that offer Praline's Own Made Ice Cream in Connecticut. Praline's is also your place for homemade cakes, pies, and even doggy treats.

Here at Praline's, we go live by a quote from the late Joe Torre himself, "You're not just a customer number to us". These days many businesses forget that the most important thing in business is the customer. We want to make every customer's experience at Praline's is special and we treat them like family. We are proud that it is our delicious homemade ice cream and superior customer service that keeps our customers returning to Praline's. Here at Praline's our motto is, "You never work a day in your life as long as you love what you are doing!"
